About Diana

I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University and earned my Bachelor’s degree from UCLA. My clinical training includes serving as a Mental Health Counselor at Southern California Counseling Center, supporting diverse clients through a wide range of concerns within a non-pathologizing, strength-based, and culturally responsive framework.

I bring together my lived experience, over a decade of teaching yoga, my study of the nervous system, and my ongoing clinical training to support individuals and couples in understanding themselves and their relationships more deeply. My work is relational and body-aware, grounded in the belief that healing happens not in isolation, but through safe, attuned connection.

I’m especially mindful of how childhood trauma, chronic stress, and anxiety shape the ways we learn to protect ourselves. The strategies that once helped you cope — becoming hyper-aware, over-functioning, shutting down, or avoiding conflict — often follow us into adulthood and show up most clearly in our closest relationships. I also hold care for the layered experience of immigration and first- and second-generation identity — the grief of what was left behind alongside the strengths developed through adaptation and responsibility. These experiences deeply influence how safe we feel expressing needs, navigating conflict, and allowing ourselves to be fully seen.

In our work together, we attend to both inner experience and relational patterns — how emotions live in the body, how connection is sought or avoided, and how old survival strategies may be shaping present dynamics. Whether working individually or as a couple, therapy becomes a place to slow down, feel supported, and begin practicing new ways of relating — to yourself and to the people you care about.

Starting therapy can feel like a big step. A consultation is a chance to slow down, ask questions, and see if working together feels like the right fit.
